Mokume Gane is a Japanese method of manipulating metal to achieve a wood grain appearance. Polymer clay artists have borrowed from this art form to create magnificent patterns. In this interactive class, we will explore the techniques of Mokume Gane using inlay, image transfer, and Sutton Slice methods to create unique patterns and designs to apply to polymer clay boxes and other objects. Some experience with handling polymer clay is advisable. You will need a steady internet connection, a free Zoom account, and a computer with an enabled camera and microphone.
